BEREZINSKY FOREST RESERVE

The opportunity to visit the unique reserve which is included in the world network biosphere reserves of UNESCO, awarded with the European diplom is given you. It is located on the area in 81 000 h, totals more than 6 000 kinds of wildlife, unique woods and marshs, lakes and river's complexes. Here up to present time were kept untouched nooks of nature.

You'll make foot excursion by reserve, observing its rich flora and fauna; visit the Museum of a nature where will see representatives of flora and fauna of the reserve, and will observe animals in their habitat environment in demonstration open-air cages. You will get acquaint with historical and a cultural heritage of this region: the ancient waterway " from variag to Greeks ", the ferry of Napoleon, the national handcrafts. It is possible to have a good rest here: Domzheritsy - the administrative and scientific centre of the reserve having one of the best hotels with restaurant, billiard, sauna. To services of the wild nature amateurs some small cosy wooden houses (28 places) are situated in the most picturesque places. The tourist complex "Plavno" is the comfortable guest hotel including 10 numbers on the lake Plavno.
